I decided I wanted to draw animals more often in the future, so I thought it would be a good idea to invest in media that is suitable to be used in such projects. During my research what materials would work well I discovered that Pastelchalks and Pastelpencils work really well. After buying these supplies I wanted to create a little “practice project” to find out if I would like to work with this kind of media.

I decided to make this drawing of Luna, which quickly became a larger project instead of a little practice. I am pleased with the result and I really like the Pastel approach as well!
