This time I wanted to try something new: I never made a drawing of an animal. So I thought: It’s about time to do that!
The photo that I used as a reference was made by myself in the past; The cat that you see was our own pet back in the days. Unfortunately she died a few years back.

I have this photo framed in small size at home, but I always looked at it like: I want to make a (larger) drawing based on this photo. And that has happened now (also being my first animal drawing)!
As a base it’s a marker drawing, but I added more details using colorpencils afterwards.
