I wanted to create an illustration of a dog some time, after completing the car illustrations of Hummel & Dabber. Friends of mine have 2 dogs, one of them has fairly short hair making her the perfect candidate as the first dog that I would draw before trying to draw animals with long hair.

It turned out, that this illustration of Baloe was quite a challenge after all but it was very enjoyable to work on this project :)

A3, markers, colorpencils, black fineliner & white gel pen were used to make this illustration.
